DuPont Profit Increases 8.5% on Sales Outside U.S. (Update5) (Bloomberg.com)
Oct. 23 (Bloomberg) — DuPont Co., the third-largest U.S. chemical maker, reported quarterly profit rose 8.5 percent on increasing international demand for seeds and Kevlar and said 2008 earnings will gain as much as 10 percent.
