I know the dangers of teflon for human health. So I am wondering if anyone can recommend an alternative option for saucepan?

A couple of years ago I was shopping for school uniform shorts for my grandsons and I noticed that those sold in the big chainstores were “teflon-coated” in order to be “stain resistant” and “non-iron”. I was not happy about this and bought them some (more expensive) shorts from a proper school uniform shop without such a coating.
I found an article about this and showed it to my daughter-in-law and she then agreed that it was better to be safe than sorry over such matters.

I am looking to replace my current cookware with something that is much safer. I have read many articles where Teflon/non-stick surfaces are dangerous to our health. If I get a stainless steel cookware set with non-stick surfaces, will I encounter the same health risk?
