It’s all over the news lately – some chemicals that can be released from Teflon at high temperatures are carcinogens and caused lab animal deaths. 3M has stopped using the chemical because of these same concerns. Environment Canada admitted that the chemical “slipped through the cracks” of health & safety testing and approval.
What do you all think? Should we stop using Teflon pans? Are plain aluminum pans any safer? (I thought aluminum was linked to Alzheimers…?)
